What is Primal Gathering?

Primal Gathering is an environmentally, socially, and psychologically regenerative culture design consultancy with a mission to restore people, forests, and ecosystems all over the world. We hold educational in-person gatherings where people learn various restorative practices, such as mindfulness and communication skills, to integrate into their day-to-day lives whilst regenerating and reforesting land. Each gathering is guided by the needs of the local landowners.

We also work with organisations to build cultures of care that foster empathy as a way of working, as we believe empathy is a catalyst towards climate action, and a happier and fulfilled workforce.

Our intention is to lay the foundations of a new emerging regenerative educational model that is participatory, locally responsive, and globally collaborative to address some of the most pressing issues of our time.

The team

Nicole (Anna Maria) Bosky

Founder & Regenerative Culture Designer

Nicole Bosky is a regenerative culture designer, entrepreneur, and seasoned event organiser. She previously founded an innovation consultancy, Adpreneurs, and has organised more than 150+ events on four continents for Unilever, Reckitt and Benckiser, and the United Nations ranging from hackathons to wellness and regenerative festivals. Nicole’s expertise lies in curating educational, wellness, and artistic talent. After experiencing burnout in 2017, she embarked on a journey of self-development and found that integrating new habits and tools came with more ease when practiced in community.  This then laid the foundations for what has now become Primal Gathering. Her passions lie in re-inventing the future of community, sustainability, and mental health.

Irene Miranda

Head of Production

Irene Miranda is a conscious event organiser, creator of the plant-based care brand Da Lua Herbals, and founder of a women’s empowerment network. Having worked in event production for world-renowned festivals and conferences of the film and music industry from a young age, such as Cannes Film Festival, Venice Biennale, and Tokyo Music Conference, Irene soon became aware of the lack of resilience and regeneration that characterises the predominant work culture. Today, bridging her life experience and interests, she integrates a more feminine, integrative approach to entrepreneurship, event production, and coaching.

Helena Leonardo

Social Researcher & Internal Culture Designer

Helena Leonardo is a purpose-driven sociologist, social entrepreneur, and writer whose work focuses on regenerative development, the social and solidarity economies, and the Commons transition movement. Her current research explores the role of the care work economy in the advancement of regenerative cultures. A study she is undertaking under the guidance of Ana Margarida Esteves and Rogério Roque Amaro, two scholars from the ISCTE-IUL University in Lisbon. They are leading researchers in the fields mentioned above. Helena is Primal Gathering's social researcher and internal culture designer. She has been developing the organisational systems and methodologies that inform Primal Gathering's regenerative cultural ethos from the inside out.
